The Velvet Connection – feature film script. Israel. 1998
Synopsis:
A former secret service agent is called back to the service in order to find a colleague of his late father – a scientist at the National Biological Research Institute, who has been missing together with a tube containing a lethal virus.
As he is able to hunt down the escaping scientist and tube, our hero finds himself to be the one who is now being hunted, by some mysterious forces. In his attempts to get to the truth, he finds that he can trust no one, including his superiors in the secret service itself. The conspiracy is all around him.
With the help of a young female scientist – his only ally - he is finally able to expose a government plot to hide a terrible crime that has been done at the Institute’s labs: Biological Weapon experiments performed on human war prisoners.
